  The vet assistant was very rough with my dog for a nail trimming, she broke her collar, she brought my dog back out to me and said she was too wound up (as she laid on the floor). The vet assistant then said we would need to make an appointment to sedate our dog, I asked if I could try going back with her and again the vet assistant told me I would have to make another appointment. I was there for about 10 mins and go pushed off onto another appointment while I was still within my appointment time. The receptionist and everyone else in the building were very kind, but the vet assistant is why I will not return. I have heard such good things about this place, so it was upsetting to have this happen.

  In my opinion, Dr. Carter is the best veterinarian in the Shenandoah Valley. Very friendly staff. I have been going there for over 10 years. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I highly recommend Dayton Animal Clinic.
